History of the Company

Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft. was established in April, 2000. The type of establishment is subsidiary - 100% owned by Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd. Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd. was founded in January, 1944. The main section is production of metal wares.

Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd has several plants in Japan. The main plant is located in Midorigaoka in Toyota City. Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd. has subsidiary plant in Indonesia, United States of America, South Korea, China, Thailiand and in Europe (Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft). There is a Liaison and Sales Office in Dusseldorf as a part of Taiho Europe.

Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd. has quality system certified according to ISO/TS 16949 by 1997. Most of the subsidiary company of Taiho Kogyo Co., Ltd. also has quality and environmental system certified according to customer expectation (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001).

Main customers of Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft.: Toyota Motor Europe, Denso Manufacturing Hungary, Hanon Systems Hungary Kft (former Halla Visteon Climate Control), Mahle Compressors Hungary Kft (former Delphi Thermal Hungary), JTEKT Corporation.

The production was started on January, 2001 at Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft. There are 200 employees currently at Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft. Currently there are 6 kind of product groups producing at Taiho Corporation of Europe Kft.: *Compressor shoe for automotive air-conditioning compressors, *Engine bearing for crankshafts and connecting rods, *Oil pressure Control Valve for variable valve timing systems, *Bushings for transmissions, *Ring Cam Outer and *Cover Bearing for diesel fuel pumps.
